In the early 1990's the name was changed to Ozarks Counseling Center to reflect the fact that we serve clients from all over SW Missouri and sometimes NW Arkansas with quality and affordable counseling. About Ozarks Counseling Center About Us Our History Ozarks Counseling Center originally formed in Springfield, Missouri in 1952 and was called the Greene County Child Guidance Clinic. It was the first child guidance clinic in the area and was established to treat emotional and behavioral problems of children.
