Stress/Trauma Assistance Team (STAT): The STAT consists of mental health professionals who are trained to help children, adolescents, adults and families following a disaster or traumatic event. Pre-Petition Screening: COMCARE works in conjunction with the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office in the filing of mental petitions (petitions for involuntary treatment).
